How-to, community & developing Collaborative Governance in the UK

On the occasion of DSG Scotland events with John Buck in Edinburgh and Glasgow in October 2013, I wrote a piece exploring different forms of democracies, in government and in private organisations, for the Scottish Common Weal.  It is not about sociocracy per se, but puts sociocracy in the context of representative democracy, direct democracy and various industrial forms of participation, exploring the possibility of Scotland developing a deeper democracy for itself.  The article is too long for a blog, so I have attached it as a pdf (see below, alternatively click here) for anyone interested.
