a) Morning:  SOCIOCRACY UK monthly meeting

Short reports Global 'The Sociocracy Group' (TSG-en) explained (WIP) & updated (replacing SPA).  Operations Leader update. Reviewed 2 policies (ning & logo to continue).

Main items:

• Operations Leader role description agreed, to review on next election in 3 months
• Election of Secretary/Logbook keeper:  Martin Grimshaw (Pia & Francois to support)
• Financial Management: Financial Coordinator role created - Sue Bell elected (action plan)
• 9-step circle structure implementation plan agreed, elected leader:  James Priest
• Incorporation of Sociocracy UK: deferred to next meeting

Evaluation. Next meeting  21 May 2013 on skype, Martin facilitating

b) Afternoon:  Meeting with John Buck

• Business Conference 2014: explored possibility of (co-?)organising conference taregetted more at businesses, possibly with business school or other organisation, long picture forming, variety of possiblities.  Sue, Francois, Martin, James to explore & plan
• Clarification of Relationship between Sociocracy UK, SEED, TSG-en and Global Centre; after exploring various possibilites agreed to form a double-link relationship with TSG-en (or sub-circle) following 4.4.2 pattern (independent yet connected)
• Briefly looked at legalisation issue, various comporate structures etc.

Evaluation.  John Buck back October (Scotland), suggested establish contact with Jane Hera.
