How are you using sociocratic principles?
I'm just learning about it, Using it in my personal or family life, Applying it in my community group, Using it in my business, I'm actively engaging in and supporting the Sociocracy networks
Please write a brief description of your experience of sociocracy and a bit about yourself
I am actively engaged in using and developing the different aspects of collaborative governance.
I used the formal consent decision-making process to get 13 newly convened professionals to get together for a training day within a month and agree a venue in Southern UK. It took 30 minutes and they were amazed they all were happy with the result and how they had participated in the process. They wanted to know more.

Hi Sue, I'm not sure if I responded to this message.  It looks like I might not have?

I am appreciating your welcome into the group and feel exited to see Scott Mieras pop up plus Ray Taylor (NVC connections).

I look forward to connecting with your further.

Warmly, Deb

Hi Sue, thanks for your message.  We would love to welcome you to Brisbane when you are next in Australia.  We would be very interested in online training, both for our enterprise and for our local transition town group.  One of the misfortunes of living 'down under' is that resources are fairly limited in the area of sociocracy.  Please let me know how I can access the online courses.  Go well, Emma

Hi Sue. What a warm welcome ... thank you. Yes, John led a group of about 22 in the weekend of 27-28 August near Auckland, New Zealand. It was quite an experience. Intense, hugely satisfying yet just a beginning, and in beaut company. He's going to lead an online coaching session for part of the group on 19 September.

My hopes? Immediately, that a colleague and I can introduce some sociocratic processes to the Theosophical Society in NZ. We dipped our toes in the water a tiny bit last weekend, but I can see we have a way to go, in a process that will yet unfold. Thanks for your interest.

Hello Marella.  We have introduced it with some training days into the meetings of the Directors and Working Group Convenors.  It seems to give us shorter, more lively meetings and very clear contributions from everyone about each agenda item.

I am learning how to use it in the Heart&Soul group.  The most valuable things I use at the moment are the 4 authentic powers, the proposal process towards consent and the election process.  It is simple and clear and seems to leave less grumbles from people about unsatifactory decisions.

Hi Sue

Thanks, nice work. Wonder if we should add the Personal Development Q's on the social event? Or perhaps it would be useful as a discussion elsewhere on the site?

Hi Sue, thanks for your thanks, but I'm not sure what you're thanking me for, what's "this"? Regardless, I'll be there on 4th November, looking forward to meeting you then.
